Wow I'm a Adidas fan, But I wouldn't ever buy those sneakers.
We had a game last year where one of our players had 3 different sneakers on during the game. My kids notice these things. Hopefully once games and the season starts attention doesn't get paid too much what sneakers we are wearing.

The ones they get for free? That's good because kids don't want to be locked in to wearing one shoe these days.
Nike was gyping us big time. Adidas will give us much more product and more $. It was worth the move. These kids LIVE for sneakers...It's easy to get caught up in with the new levels of exclusivity and the world of special/limited editions.
From a basketball point of view, adidas doesn't have anywhere near the sort of cache with the on court product that Nike does...Their strong points are the lifestyle/casual wear lines they market.
I know I was bummed to learn of the change from Nike. No more rocking the newest Foams or KD styles with going "against the grain"...Hey, at least it will save me a ton of dough!
Didn't say it wasn't a good move from a University standpoint...Nike was gyping us big time. Adidas will give us much more product and more $. It was worth the move.
Shoe companies pay part of the head coach's salary too.
