You know don't laugh but I've always wondered how much weather plays a role in visits. Things always seem nicer when its a clear sunny day. Gloomy weather had been shown to affect people's psyche. These guys in many cases are not familiar wtih NJ and they come for 1-2 days, you can only make a 1st impression once.

Even if a kid doesn't think much about that, subconciously how much does bad weather affect a visit?

My guess is it depends on the person and I would be willing to bet that in some recruits is does positively or negatively influence them.

Strickland is interested in majoring in business. Don’t know how good Wiskie’s Business School is but our Coach can point to possible internships on Wall Street.

Wonder if he spent any time at the football student appreciation day scrimmage.

I would think a trip to NYC would be included.

Their business school is outstanding. But ours is very good too. Let's hope it's the intangibles as well as Pikiell's influence that gets us over the finish line with him.

I was on Easton Ave, Hamilton Street and the area within the last 2-3 hours for some work-related stuff and although it's about 48-50 degrees, it's clear, crisp and there are some students walking around a bit. I couldn't make it over to the bubble for the open practice for football, but plenty of people will chime in on that....If they hit NYC tonight, I would not be shocked either....

Could not have had a better day or two in the tri-state area for mid March.....I would have liked 60-65 degrees, but it's still fine to make a good impression on the campus/area/RAC/stadium and new construction for Practice Facility.....tons to see and take in for a visit.

Snow and cold weather prevented RU from getting this gridiron stud...

Might have passed you, Hawk. Also on campus today. What a beautiful day. Not a bad day to entertain a student.

RBS is the nicest building at Rutgers. Being RAC adjacent as well as Livingston apartments adjacent doesn’t hurt either from a convenience standpoint. Then you take him down to college ave campus to show where everyone goes to get majorly f’d up and scarf some late night grub.

The baseball team defeated Penn State today 1-0 in one outstanding game. They could have stopped there for a few minutes.

We should fly him into Philly where it's always sunny
