Venetsky, Carter , Jackson in Big 33 All Star game Saturday

This is maybe the best All Star game in the Northeast. Pa vs Md. Being played in Hershey Park, Pa this Saturday. I hope there is online tv coverage would like to see RU incoming players Zack Venetsky, Rondell Carter and Jonah Jackson.

I think you are right. I'm not sure when it changed. About 6 years ago there was a terrific All Star game at RU , NJ vs the North East, w a ton of D1 talent. I remember our DB Logan Ryan shutting down WR Brown who went on to Penn St. The Rocket and Ray Graham were running backs. Carlo Calabrese , Verona/ND had a big fumble recovery at end of game. I forget who the QBs were however lol. Kid down the street from me, Drew Evanglista was NJ's kicker, went on to Towson.

Yes it was. It has changed through out the years. At one point it was PA versus Maryland, Texas, Florida, and the entire United States. It even once was east vs west. Maryland makes the most sense to me big as the game is played in Hershey. While the Ohio border is 6 hrs away but Maryland is only 90 minutes. Once the NCAA started allow freshmen to receive scholarship for the summer term the amount of talent in the game dropped. This year only about a dozen players are fBS scholarship players.
