Based off this rule it really is bang bang when that one foot comes down. I don’t think I fully understand the “reestablishing” rule if it is just one foot. Would love to m, ya know, use replay to see some more angles.
he went on on his own volition so it doesn't matter if he reestablished...he can't be the first to touch it. read the rule.Based off this rule it really is bang bang when that one foot comes down. To me the first guy is clearly out and like is right on top of it. Unfortunately that is not reviewable (I think??)
Read rule again. He set himself there. He wasn't eligible to be first to touch ball again when he reentered court.Based off this rule it really is bang bang when that one foot comes down. Clearly out of bounds bringing it up too wow. Couldn't tell from other angles but that one confirms it.

Double RU screws
It’s debatable if momentum carried it him out. Yeshe went on on his own volition so it doesn't matter if he reestablished...he can't be the first to touch it. read the rule.
you can make a case his momentum carried him out. It’s a stretch but it is close.he went on on his own volition so it doesn't matter if he reestablished...he can't be the first to touch it. read the rule.
Lol no. It's not even remotely debatable. What momentum 🤣It’s debatable if momentum carried it him out. Yes

I agree the first guy was out and it is preposterous they couldn’t at least review it and figure out what they were working with.
It is not even close. What momentum? He’s jogging while looking back at the ball handler. It’s debatable if momentum carried it him out. Yes

Adding to the shame of this is how easy it now is to overlook:
Who is overlooking Caleb as an elite defender? He won DPOYAdding to the shame of this is how easy it now is to overlook:
1. How elite of a defender Caleb has become on a consistent basis
2. How well both Rutgers and OSU played in this game
We'll get a nice warm glass of milk from the conference tomorrowBTN Pizzo just said how can the officals not review it, they basically review anything under 2 minutes and they would have waived it off easily
Pikiell needed to be more forceful there in getting the refs attention
It doesn't matter. His momentum didn't take him out of bounds he just went out of bounds on his own volition because he wasn't paying attention to where he was. And if you look at Mag's positioning he's right against the out of bounds to deliver a pass to someone already in bounds would be very difficult (of course made easier when the passer steps out too WTF). Unreal that this isn't reviewable.Based off this rule it really is bang bang when that one foot comes down. I don’t think I fully understand the “reestablishing” rule if it is just one foot. He’s stepped it up a notch from last year even, and his consistency on a possession by possession basis and polish have also improved.Who is overlooking Caleb as an elite defender? He won DPOY
If he wasn't coming from an out of bounds position, he wouldn't have been able to step into the shot and get it off. He would have had to have been facing away from the basket to catch it and wouldn't have even gotten the shot off in timeIt doesn't matter. This is a really good point. If he wasn't coming from an out of bounds position, he wouldn't have been able to step into the shot and get it off. He would have had to have been facing away from the basket to catch it and wouldn't have even gotten the shot off in time
And just another reason it makes this blown call so much worse. The violation of the rule wasn't just some technicality. It gave him a clear competitive advantageThis is a really good point.
I agree 100%. Thanks for pointing this out.And just another reason it makes this blown call so much worse. The violation of the rule wasn't just some technicality. It gave him a clear competitive advantage
Looking right at it one foot away lolClearly out of bounds bringing it up too wow. Couldn't tell from other angles but that one confirms it.

Excellent point and why they have the stinking rule to begin withAnd just another reason it makes this blown call so much worse. The violation of the rule wasn't just some technicality. It gave him a clear competitive advantage
