Wake Forest's Tyree Appelby Questionable for Saturday

Wake Forest is 8-3. Among its victories is a win at Wisconsin...

The point about the RAC and our D stands... He wouldn't hit his average against us (hope that doesn't jinx us).. our performance vs SHU could certainly throw us into a funk... I certainly hope I am dead wrong.. and the D remaining tough the whole game should indicate they can come back as D can ALWAYS show up even if the offense does not.

Come to think of it.. Temple was as similar situation. We were the better team.. but we lost. Largely due to odd and possibly selfish play on O.. and the next games we got better. Same for losing to Miami and coming back to handle Indiana fairly well.

Let's see that rebound game. Its a long season and that would be the way to get things going.

We cannot afford another lapse. We have 21 regular season games left and need to win 14 to have a good shot at dancing. That would give us 20 wins. If we fall short by 1 or 2, we will need at least 2 wins in BIG tournament.

The guy was carried off the court last night. I would be shocked if he played.

But, it's the rule - any star player of an RU Opponent designated as "questionable" before a our game always plays - and plays well - against RU. 😉

Wasn’t that long ago we couldn’t beat a Minnesota team that was missing most of its scorers. I hope our offense has recovered from the SH debacle.
My goodness, I forgot about that game. Just looked up the box score, yikes

Wake site saying their star may be held out so he will be fully recovered to start the ACC early the following week. When Geo had a sprain he sat for 7-10 days same with Ron. The Wake kid sprained it the first time two days before the last game and their staff shot him up and let him play. He was lucky he didnt break it. Maybe they should take the kid to a physician instead of a trainer if they want him for the rest of the season. Appleby is averaging 19 a game and went off for 32 against Wisky.

Sounds entirely speculative, based on the incorrect premise that ACC games are more important than a game against us. They are not.
Sprains vary and even what looked real bad initially can be ok in 2 days. Or 2 weeks, or a month. Assume the kid is playing.

Cliff needs to step up. Should be averaging 18 this year. And Caleb should become our go to guy at the end

That’s what happens when your OOC is soft as baby s-it compared to your peers.
It’s a good think our schedule was soft. If we played UMass Lowell 3 more times on a neutral floor without Caleb and Paul we might’ve gone 2-1 or 1-2. Neither outcome, in this case, would be better than beating the snot out of CC. We can’t afford to add to the loss count period.

Cliff needs to stop taking himself out of the game by committing first half fouls 30, 40 and 85 feet from the basket
He's doing his Myles impression. The strange thing is he was sooo good at staying out of foul trouble last year too. He has regressed in that area. If he's going to pick up early fouls they should be protecting the rim or attacking the rim not hedging on screens above the 3 point line and reaching in in the backcourt

Besides the season finale against Penn State, there isn’t another game that jumps out at me from last season where he was in early foul trouble
