Caught the 1st half, a good part of the 2nd half. Neither team looks good, I think they're both beatable. Especially MSU in the 1st half: pressure their QB and their offense falls apart.

I only caught the last quarter or so and the MSU QB did not look good. Part of that was that Illinois was comfortably ahead and knew he had to throw on almost every down.
Sometimes two shitty teams look shitty, and sometimes two good teams make the other team they are playing look shitty if that makes any sense.
Purdue pulls off miracle Friday night then MSU will have nothing to play for.

I’ve seen parts of several Illinois games this year. Think they are a very solid team. Solid offense and good defense. QB Altmeyer is good , 18 tds. 3 ints on year. 62% about 2, 200 yds.
Illinois is actually a very good team, Michigan State - not so much. We did what we had to do yesterday, but it would be amazing to get one more.
I think we at least beat a bad Sparty team. Illinois win on top of that would be gravy.

If our DL plays like they have been the last 2 games, I expect us to pressure the MSU into mistakes and an overall bad game. Also don’t think MSU has the players on the outside to stay with our improving WRs. If our OL plays like they have been, I expect a W similar to yesterday’s.
