Second year in a row we earned it. 25 year season ticket holder. Loved RU even thru the Ash years. Now before I get “You are OK with mediocre” I certainly am not. I thought when the schedule came out we could go 8-4 with a better bowl. Mind you that is with little NIL $$$ compared to the better schools. Injuries are part of the game. Both teams have then every game. That said Illinois had ONE out while we started with nine out for the season, I believe 2 others out for Illinois. Add in our secondary was dropping like flies during the game.. We had some excellent recruits visiting yesterday. I doubt any player is not coming to RU because we lost on a fluke play or a controversial TO. Some calling for Greg’s head. Don’t get it. Now if he had a better NIL or not a MASH on the field Then a different story. Some saying we are getting blown out next week. Pretty sure this team gets off the canvas. Hopefully some can heal up this week. I bleed Scarlet, always will
