I am usually the eternal optimist especially when it comes to RU, but after watching today's games we may win one more game this year. I know teams usually get better over the course of the year and team matchups make every game each week unique. But right now with no pass rush, a DC who is reluctant to blitz, a pedestrian Offensive game plan, and a O-Line that seems soft I don't see us winning another game. I cringe to even think that this is a real possibility. But with the way the team has played without any urgency/passion in the first four games (regardless of the off the field issues), I am now coming to the realization this season is lost.
I have tried to continue to support Flood and his staff, but if this team does not show improvement against MSU and play with reckless abandon I will most likely join the bandwagon calling for change! :weary:
