We will win plenty of games this season.

We have more than promise. We actually played, IMHO, well below our capability tonight. Much of that can possibly be chalked up to a lack of experience in games of this intensity from the young guys. Other than Eugene and Deshawn everyone else is capable of playing much better. We should be in every game this year. There are occasional bad night where all goes wrong but I expect a really intense competitive season.

Pretty impressive for a program that certainly looks like it is on the rise.

FSU just seemed more athletic and experienced. They were good defensively and RU had trouble getting open for 3's.They were missing their 7-4 center.

We will win plenty of games this year and, like last year, most of them will be outside of the league.

We have a coach! This is what happens when you have good players that buy into a system. So much is said about recruiting blue chip guys (and yes I get it usually an easier path to success when you have a bunch of future NBA all-stars sitting on your bench), but when you have a good coach who understands what he needs to run a system, you can develop talent and chemistry to win. I hope that recruits can see games like this and feel the environment of the RAC, even in a loss, and want to be apart of the future.

I think we are better but our margin for error in the big ten remains small. It’s still a struggle on the offensive end. Need to move the ball better without putting it on the floor.

Most teams in the B1G are not nearly as long or athletic as FSU. We got plenty of good looks last night, even against a very solid team. We'll win quite a few games this year. I feel great after watching that last night.

I agree with this despite the positives from last night. The window or margin of error to win games in league is small because we are so challenged offensively and lack a legit 3 point shooter. It is imperative that we come out and play hard on defense every night in the league because if we take a night off, then its going to be lights out with a double digit loss. The big thing to hang our hats on is we have a legit coaching staff that can do things to keep us in games and hide the warts somewhat.

I agree 100% with there being a small window vs top 9 teams (and maybe deeper). Perhaps the takeaway is that there is a window.

Masking offensive woes is harder in the B1G because opponents have equal to or far superior talent. The challenge for a winning season becomes harder after games like Florida State because the team gave a very good effort but still lost by 5 points at home.Rutgers really needs to win 5/6 games like Florida State because they don't have the fire power to blow out league rivals. The margin for error without 3 point shooters is very small.

Interesting that most think we didn’t play up to our potential. I personally thought that was one of better games against real competition.
