Practice today looked just as it normally would with Kyle Flood calling the shots. Afterward, we met with Norries Wilson who has really settled into doing a nice job answering post practice questions. He talked a bit about Chris Laviano and he was asked how he looked over the past couple of days. Wilson said "Not bad. He has done some good stuff. He’s not been perfect. I am not going to sit here and tell you he’s been perfect but he has done a lot of good things.. I also asked him what makes him ore reluctant to pull a quarterback compared to any other position player and he said it is because the QB is responsible for the whole offense and when you mess with that it changes a lot of things. Wilson also mentioned how the team is practicing for the up-tempo style of Kansas...I spoke with Zach Heeman after practice whos is up to 295 pounds and he also enjoyed playing in the first two games, however brief this appearances were. He also told me he is really understanding the offense and things are pointing towards him being Lumpkin's successor at left tackle...I will have more to follow.
