Practice was closed to the media but we met with Flood and players afterward...The team practiced in full pads and did a little more hitting to get ready for Army...Chris Parker was the scout team QB...Chris Muller will be the starting center if Derrick Nelson can't go and Marcus Applefield would slide into his spot on the O line at right guard. I spoke with Marcus and he is always very even keel. He said starting should be no different as he really comes off as a veteran and not someone who is just in his second year...A kid from the Targum asked Flood is he thought he was coaching her his job this weekend. I thought Flood handled the question well in his response and said he did not feel that way at all...I also spoke with Jon Bateky afterwards. He went from 235 in January to 270 now. He said he has really picked up a lot over the past year on the d-line and I think he has a bright future...I will have more to come and here is Flood's post practice video.
