As i mentioned in another thread, TJ Taylor is out for the season with a torn ACL. Devon Carter has been moved to LB to provide more depth. I asked Flood if Johnson could play the SAM and he has not explored that possibility but did not rule it out. He is in the middle for now...There is more of an opportunity now for Kevin Wilkins with Sebastian Joseph out for the spring with an upper body injury. Flood has some positive words for Wilkins...I spoke with Marcus Applefield who is seeing some action at left tackle and taking a few reps now at center. He is 298 and looks very impressive physically...I also spoke with Matt Flanagan who is having a solid spring and said he really feels comfortable in all aspects of the game...Flood mentioned Carlton Agudosi as a guy who is having a good spring, probably the most consistent he has been while at Rutgers...Players who caught my eye - Jacquis Webb, Isaiah Wharton, Rob Martin, Logan Lister, Carlton Agudosi.
