He killed us in Game 1. Was highly recruited. Is a pure point guard (who can't shoot).

He played only 2 minutes and he has essentially been out of the rotation.

We never really got a chance to boo him.

I have to imagine he's a down-transfer candidate after the season... hasn't produced anywhere close to the hype. Really, really bad shooter. Although he did hit 35% of threes in conference play as a freshman. But that's an outlier compared to the rest of his career.

I think he'd thrive at a place like Iona that loves to push the pace and play freely, and they always have shooters he can kick it to.

If the younger Pitino inherited any of his Dad’s skills, one of Sr.’s master skills was roster building and clearing roster spots.

Iona...couldn't help smiling looking at the RAC scoreboard and seeing Monmouth lose at home to Quinnipiac.

Bench mob is probably on the court missing shots instead of celebrating on the bench.

Pitino's teams never seem to have any decent depth. They were a five-man show last year once Reggie Lynch got exposed as a horrible human being and kicked off the team. Same thing this year except with Kalscheur instead of Nate Mason.

Even the year they went to the tournament it was basically a six-and-a-half man rotation.

They have one 4* guard (Tre Williams) committed for next season and a Pitt transfer (Marcus Carr) who will be eligible after sitting out. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Guards - Coffey, Kalscheur, Carr, Williams, Washington if he sticks around
Forwards - Michael Hurt, Eric Curry, Jarvis Omersa (the blond-haired guy who hasn't done anything this season)
Center - Daniel Oturu

No idea what their scholarship situation is like but they're going to be even more guard-oriented than us next season it seems. He likes to play the grad transfer game but it hasn't really worked out for him... Matz Stockman and Brock Stull are two good reasons why Rutgers fans shouldn't expect much from any grad transfers.
