I dont think it matters, we lost on a freak shot, yes winning matters but the team is playing at a high level, I dont think that is going away. This wasnt a post season team anyhow so its just a loss. They will be fine. Ignore what happens at Michigan State because thats an impossible game and look forward to chances to win two or even 3 of the last 4.
Sometimes losses like this rips the heart out of a team and they fall apart

Is it impossible? Langford and Ward out makes me think this is in reach if cards fall right.
Last year we lost by 10 at home to MSU, then took them to OT at their place. This year we lost by 11 at home, and they're missing 2 of their 3 top scorers from the first game at their place.
Michigan State will dictate that not Rutgers. If MSU comes to play like a top 10 team they are going to beat us pretty good. If they dont, then RU can hang but I am not getting my hopes up. When they turn the jets on like they did in that second half vs OSU outscoring them 37-13, things can get out of hand very quickly.
Michigan State has not been playing like a top 10 team for a while. Ohio State had a 6 point halftime lead and controlling the game and their defense was outstanding. Michigan State turned up their defense to another level and McQuaid and Goins hit some shots to separate them but that was not a dominant complete game but a dominant last 7 minutes. We match up well. Going to be a physical war. With the way for are now playing for 40 minutes , we have a chance.
