Not trying to be comprehensive, but want to hit on some items that stood out for me. And yes, Norfolk State is a lousy team.
1. QB poise. Norfolk State threw quite a few players into the pass rush, but the QBs seemed to make good decisions all game.
2. Running backs. James looks as good as ever. Hicks and Martin both play with anger.
3. Defensive line and linebackers look strong
4. I loved the offensive play calling. I think McDaniels is only going to be with us a short time - he, IMO, is a coach on the rise.
5. The team got better as the game went on.
6. WRs were fabulous - making all sorts of catches + runs
7 Cannot recall RU winning by 50 before. I think its been at least 15 years.
Wazzou will be an interesting test, but I am feeling a lot better.
