When is Junior Day ?

Junior Day is when I hope to see Coach create some real buzz. Let these kids see the energy and passion and let it "percolate."

This is the coaches perspective. Although I do a lot of following on twitter of news,etc. It is way too early and even silly to follow the tweets of a bunch of 16 and 17 year olds on how much fun they are having. I'll leave that to the press. That said, I hope Todderick gives breakdown on sneaker colors, it could be an early indicator.....wake me up next Feb and let me know what happens with this class!

Hopefully the new staff can get a different result with younger brother.

I think the key to junior day will be the level of player we get. There were 130 players there, mostly from NJ, the key is do we get the top 10-20 to bite. The wide awareness is fantastic and gives the coach a wide array of players to look at, but many of the players will not be the quality we need.

As they said in the movie Field of Dreams, "If you build it, they will come"

Love the reaction of the recruits. The new energy and enthusiasm, the amount of positive change in such a short time, the sense that the program is going big time in every way, all point to big things coming. This is the most exciting time for Rutgers in many years.

“You get a wow factor with Coach Ash right away,” Mater Dei coach Shannon Hoadley said. “The No. 1 thing I love are the three main components of what he is building his football around: His code of ethics, his culture and his plan to win.

"I love the fact that the code of ethics and the culture is at the top of his list: What he expects his student-athletes to be and how they have to carry themselves above and beyond what they expect of themselves."
:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
"It was actually amazing to see that much of a buzz," he said. "That’s the word that was used a lot. There is a real big buzz going on.”
