Football Which current RFootball players could play for the hoops team?

Schiano would make Jacob Young and Mathis all American CB’s
I know question is other way around but those 2 would lockdown the field outside the hash marks

When was the last time we had a guy that excelled at both sports ? Even at other schools most it doesn’t happen very often . We’ve had more success with good football/baseball guys ....young and Harris etc
Alcides Catanho from Elizabeth NJ. Ray Lucas from Harrison NJ. Both football players could have contributed on the basketball court.

He did for the Texans for a few weeks. But were talking college I know.

Wasnt he tight end? I swear I remember a tight end rutgers FB player that played basketball. Maybe a walk on?
He played after rutgers with Texans and raiders I think . But he didn’t play at Rutgers
I ran into Alcides at the Acme in ocean city a few years ago. Standing in line he commented on my RU shirt and we got to talking. He seemed surprised when he told me his name that I remembered who he was and mentioned the fact that he went to Elizabeth HS
It would definitely have to be a FG kicker. Some might be smaller physically, but they have plenty of experience with " 3 pointers ". We can use any help we can get on that part of the game.
Coach Eric Taylor was able to convert basketball players to football players.
