Please let it not be Travis Knight. He got beat out and did not look good in limited action this year.I'm going with a player to be names later. Two 5th year guys looking to transfer and their geography puts them right in our new Oc's wheelhouse.
Our OL would be fine in a spread system. It is a lot of zone blocking.Do we have the OL? I am not a football genius but the spread would seem to be the easiest system for an OL.
Yea, who would want this guyPlease let it not be Travis Knight. He got beat out and did not look good in limited action this year.
So why was he ridding the bench this year? He didn't look good the few times I saw him. Let's find out what we have here then see what Russo can do.Yea, who would want this guy
Knight was named MVP of the 2014 Sugar Bowl when he led Oklahoma to a 45–31 upset of two-time reigning national champion Alabama. Knight threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns in a record-setting performance

It's not like he lost his job to a kid who sucks. He was in the Heisman conversation. Bringing him in for a year wouldn't matter for Russo. He's not starting as a freshman. So why was he ridding the bench this year? He didn't look good the few times I saw him. Let's find out what we have here then see what Russo can do.
Those massive OT's for Texas Tech from a few years ago and more recently TCU and Baylor are not mobile in any way shape or form, but their teams ran/run the spread very well. I don't see an argument here.Do we have the OL to run a spread? We need very mobile OL for a spread and guys like Denman are questionable for it. Schiano suffered when trying to implement the spread in 2009-10 because he didn't have the right personal along the lines.
