"So, when NJ Advance Media photographer Aristide Economopoulos pointed out that every Rutgers player received two small blocks of wood when they reported for training camp on Sunday, the gears in my head started turning. Was this some motivational ploy by coach Kyle Flood? Was Flood's message to the players that they would be building on last season's successful debut in the Big Ten?
Determined to find out the deeper meaning of the blocks of wood, I went to team leader Keith Lumpkin."

It's considered poor form to take someone else's words and pass them off as your own. Next time either use quotes or the quote function.

Lately all his posts are just quoting a whole article with no text of his own.

Oh. Cut off 2x4's and duct tape. Guess I should have finished the thread. Pretty disappointing, although I suppose burl would have been a waste, given the fact that most of our scholarship athletes likely have neither the access nor the inclination to use a lathe.

I'm just waiting to see how long you guys are going to spend talking about wood.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Are these the individual blocks that will only build something bigger if they stay together as a team? Or does flood plan to hold a big game of jenga during camp?

Are

It's a helluva start, it could be made into a monster
If we all pull together as a team.
