lets look at phil Campbell's decision to decommit and attend Univ. of Pitt., I am sure that it is a good school, but not better than Rutgers academically. which head coach is likely to be there for the 4 years that phil will attend? where will phil live after he graduates? while maybe he makes the nfl or maybe he loves Pittsburgh (believe it or not that is a city on the rise), but the likelihood is he returns to live in NJ near his parents. during his college career his parents maybe able to attend his home games and BC and Syracuse away games, but at Rutgers they are part of the fabric and can attend PSU, and Maryland games with ease and easier to travel in big ten then acc. I wanted to use this as a case study, because I cannot for the life of me understand why a good NJ kid from a good family would attend a college other than Rutgers, to be fair with the exception of maybe a handful of factories. BUT Pitt, or BC or VT or WVU. I think you get my point. please share if I am missing something???? and yes kids bond over coaches and relationships, but why commit until you knew who was who at your home state school. when I grew up you played for the zip code
