Simple. It will be late in the process for most kids. Signings are happening earlier now with only the top tier kids with lots of real offers can afford to take their time. Most of our kids, and I'm happy to have them all, would not be a priority for most other teams to poach so they wouldn't 'have a ship waiting for them'. Now, that being said, some might have other opportunities but I don't think most kids are solely coming to RU because Flood is the coach. Who really thinks this clown can develop them? They will wait and see who the replacement will be and how their skillset fits into what he will run, either on O or D. Most of the top tier kids still haven't verballed anyway and we are out of it for most of them anyway. Now, if we go out and get a real coach we may suddenly be in play for kids that otherwise weren't looking at us.
