Recall how many thought that had Gaurantano or Hawkins chosen Rutgers it would prompt other highly ranked recruits to think more seriously about Rutgers. However , now that Russo has made it to the Elite 11, it's added legitimacy and credibility to his "elite" talent level. Possibly some of the skill players, such as wide receivers , that may have overlooked Russo will now give him ( and Rutgers) a second look.
Will Russo's making the Elite 11 finals be the spark that ignites this class?
