Wisc Game Roadtrip

Anyone going to the Wisc game in Madison Halloween weekend? Besides the game itself, wondering if there are any 'can't miss' things to do that weekend. Suggestions welcome.

I'll be there. There's the annual Freakfest concert on Halloween night that takes over downtown Madison.

If you are a hockey fan, Wisconsin is hosting Arizona State at Kohl Center on Oct. 30 and 31. Wiscy ranks near the top in attendance, averaging approximately 10,000 per game.

Interesting tidbit. Chase Rice, the country singer, is one of the headliners at FreakFest. Rice was a linebacker at UNC. He made his first career start and had seven tackles in the season-opener vs. RU in 2006.

Any idea what time the game is? 11:00 or 2:30 and I'd probably drive down and back same day. Night game would be more problematic.

I just came back from Madison. A lot of my friends are Iowa fans, and we usually do an away game each year. Next year we will do Rutgers! The town was great and so were the fans. Not one bad thing was said the entire time(Iowa won). The homemade pretzels on the second floor of the stadium are amazing!! Its funny everywhere you go its Badger something from Badger buses to Badger carwash even badger water at the stadium. I wonder if they get a kickback for using the logo?
