They scored on a long TD run that would've put them up by 6 midway through the 4th quarter and it got called back when the ref said h stepped out of bounds about 40 yards back. He was CLEARLY in bounds and 2 plays later wisconsin qb gets knocked out Of the game

That should be review able and that line judge could not see that play and should not have blown the whistle. BS CALL

What's with the announcers' infatuation with Cody Kessler. I'm half surprised they didn't put a Kessler-o-meter on the screen.

Definitely NEVER blow the whistle when it's that close, Throw your cap or whatever to the spot and let the play go on. Anyway, they pulled it out in the end.

No. When he step out of bounds, the play is dead. Blow the whistle and stop the clock. Through the cap mean the recieve went out of bonds, on his own, and returned to the field, that's a delay penalty. If he stepped out of bounds, the line judge have to kill the play.

Pretty sure refs are told to let plays play out. Replay officials can go back and put time back on the clock. Bad call since he never did step out.

I watched some of the 2nd quarter and the far side line judge was the one that called the Wisc rb down before the goal line which was reversed for a TD. He also seemed to have some spots to favor USC, one on their first TD where they got a spot at the 2 yard line when I thought it would be closer to the 4. There was also a catch and turn by a USC wr that then fumbled with Wisc recovering but was ruled no catch. If this is all the same guy that called the Wisc runner out of bounds then it is curious.

The catch and turn was not ruled no catch, there was an offsides penatly which negated the fumble. Ref threw his bean bag.

Cichy has been a beast this whole half.

He had 3 sacks in a row in one series in the 3rd quarter. A natural hat trick! He ended up being the Defensive MVP. Stave was Offensive MVP. He managed the game quite well. Dirty Trojan lineman stepped on his face mask and broke his nose during 4th quarter. Nice effort to come back in and win the game.
