The head of the faculty union is on record today saying that the punishment for Flood is only a slap on the wrist because $50K relative to his salary isn't a big deal. I haven't seen anything on whether the suspension is with or without pay and, if it's without, how exactly that is calculated (3 weeks out of 52 or 3 games out of 12). Does anyone know for sure?
