Sounds like Purdue played a good game. They had a couple players back from injury and they came out and hit the crossbar early and had some goal line clearances to keep the net clean. We had more shots (only six on goal) and our defense gets another shutout.
The conference standings are looking exciting for us, with only 4 regular season games left. We're tied with Ohio for sixth place (both with 11 pts.) and play them this week, then it's the number 2 team (PSU 16 pts) on the 18th and Minnesota (18 pts) at #1 on the 23rd...all at home. We finish out the season out in Iowa, who haven't won a conference game, on the 28th. With wins worth three points, the next couple of weeks are there for us to end the season near the top of the standings! B1G tourney being held first week of November.
