We will have a new Assistant Coach just hired after a 3 year stint at Florida St. She brings plenty of international experience so things are looking up on the court and for recruiting. Best of luck.

Tall order - I don't really follow it, but from what I recall the Big Ten is the best league out there.

Big 10 volleyball makes wrestling in the Big 10 look easy. It is far and away the best conference top to bottom in the country. It isn't unusual to have 10-11 teams in top 20 and usually have 3 of the top 5. Penn St. Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are consistent top 5 programs. To improve in the Big 10 standings is a very tall order. Most of the volleyball programs out draw the woman's hoops teams in attendance. The schools spend as much onbit as they do woman's hoops and some schools even more. I think Penn St and Nebraska are 2 of the 3 programs in the country that are revenue positive. Nebraska volleyball profits about $1mil a year. They operate independent from the other sports much like football. They pay their own way and have money left.

Really hope we can get competitive in the B1G. Women's VB is an awesome sport. The athleticism is crazy.

I have to admit I'd love to see RU become a top grade Volleyball school as its the fall niche sport of the B1G, just like Wrestling is in the winter and now Lax is in the spring. Hosting PSU at the RAC would be sick someday.
