Worse home loss since 1961

Somewhere tonight Craig Littlepage is smiling. There's a new picture next to Loser in the Rutgers Dictionary.

and there still is 7 more conference home games left including Michigan State, Iowa, and Purdue. I wonder if we lose by 50 on the road to somebody

Someone should make a poll.

Predict largest margin of defeat this season, and the opponent.
(The hard part is when teams show mercy, like Maryland. They could have named the score.)

I don't care if we're down to 5 scholarship players, that's reason alone to fire Eddie!

Went to one game this season and I will bag the rest of the season. Not worth my time. Oh well season tickets down the drain.

in 3 years there have been 11 losses by 25 points or more..and this year isn't over with. In Littlepage's 3 years there were 11 losses by 25 points or more

As a Maryland guy, I wouldn't use the word 'mercy' here. It was more that Turgeon knew that Rutgers was undermanned, knew what they were going through, and chose to respect the opponent and game instead of making a circus out of it.

Just brutal

I'm afraid this this isn't even the bottom yet... I know that we'll see another few games that will be added to that list before the year is over.

Keeping him for next year serves no purpose. He's been neutered as far as recruiting.

Yeah, but aren't you worried that firing him will tear apart the recruiting class that he's got lined up for next season ?

I would vote for the Purdue game this season where they had 60 rebounds which was more than the 57 total points for Rutgers. It was the most embarrassing loss I have watched at the RAC where Purdue fans were yelling for missed offensive shots so that they could get 2/3 offensive rebounds to add to the total rebound totals.

We have lost to Nebraska - NEBRASKA - by a combined 58 points in 2 games this season. Basketball, mind you, not football and, btw, The Cornhuskers are a whopping 13-11 on the season including those 2 wins.

I left at halftime after the Purdue game...never before had I left a basketball game that early..the previous game I left early was the Nebraska game at the 11 minute mark earlier this year. There has been a lot of losing over the past 25 years at the RAC but I think this year takes the cake if you count the SHU debacle as well

they also lost to Samford but they did beat Michigan State to their credit

oh I agree, it shows just how far away we are from 9th place in this league, yet Eddie supporters cling to 15 point losses to Iowa, 11 point losses to Michigan as signs of progress even though the games were never in doubt. Hell the Ilinois loss people wanted to have a parade
