I think Long can be a serious player. He needs to be with Ryan, Cruickshank and Jones leaving next year.

He has made a few very nice catches this year but has also had a few drops. Watching the Michigan game, on one play he broke a tackle but was caught from behind rather quickly. I don't think he has the speed to become that deep threat that we desperately need.

I took that to mean he can be a player; and he needs to be one BECAUSE they are all leaving. But I could have misunderstood.

Yes we lose a ton of talent next season at WR.
Long and Isiah Washington will need to lead big time. In addition we need huge pickups at WR in the Portal.
