It looks like the Illini coming to the RAC Friday are very tough with a 7-3 record and coming off 3 straight wins over Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern. Cardani at 125, Piotrowski at 133 and Duncan at 141 are ranked and on a roll. Piotrowski was at 125 last year and is ranked ahead of Alvarez who gets a big test. Duncan is highly ranked around 12 so JoJo needs his best. We need 1 or 2 wins out of these 3 to have a chance. They are good at 174 and 184 so Janzer gets tested again. Pagano gets a good kid and their freshman 285 just won the meet over Northwestern 19-18 with a major decision 14-4. So you see Northwestern is just as good.

Angelo is a wild card here. His opponent stinks but with Angelo you never know what you’re going to get. Would like to see a major, maybe this is a match where he sinks the front headlock into a near side cradle.
I think Janzer and Alvarez win their toss ups, I think Aguilar and MVB lose theirs. Maybe JoJo can sneak a win in. Either way the dual probably comes down to heavyweight.
