On February 7th, Embrace Kids brought over 200 fans to the Michigan wrestling match. One of the kids who was involved with the halftime tug of war lost his battle with cancer on March 20th. The child’s father works with Rutgers EMS and covers matches at the RAC along with many other Athletic events. This young child was in and out of treatment at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for 30 months.
Now, there is an opportunity to directly help save a life. On April 27th from 3 to 8pm, Rutgers Wrestling and Embrace Kids will support a Wrestling Blood Drive at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick
Please see the following link to register to donate blood and support this important cause:http://www.ruwrblooddrive.org
During the day, wrestlers will be present to sign autographs and take photos with the donors.
If you are unable to donate, please encourage friends and colleagues to donate. It will help Save A Life !
