* Last year's player of the year, Jared Bernhardt, who played QB for Ferris St. last fall, has signed a UDFA with the Atlanta Falcons.

* To keep his players focused, "Tillman showed his players a recent episode of Tom Brady's 'Man in the Arena' documentary that chronicled the 2007 Patriots, who went undefeated into the Super Bowl, only to lose to the NY Giants."

And it didn’t hurt that his father was a big-time college football assistant as well as an employee of the Houston Texans — Director of Football Research. Sort of surprised the Belichick’s, with their ties to lacrosse and the state of Maryland, didn’t sign him ahead of the Falcons.
