Here’s an interesting update on the Michigan situation per our old friend Alex Gleitman…….
As most of you already saw via social media, there was a call between the commissioner Tony Petitti and the Big Ten coaches and ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that the majority of them want to see Michigan penalized for these actions.
Now it’s being reported today that the Athletic Directors of the Big Ten schools will hop on a call with Petitti and apparently they are even more pissed off and also want to see Michigan penalized.
Per Gleitman, the Big Ten seems to want to give Michigan a chance to penalize themselves first, but if they don’t that they will be prepared to take action. Does that action happen during this season or in the offseason? It’s unknown. Also this is completely separate of the NCAA.
Bottom line is the Big Ten is taking this VERY seriously and plans for something to happen.
