Why Isn’t Strong On The Field More?

I fully expect us to see more and more of Strong each week.

S&C??? Have you looked at that kid up close Al??!!
It’s not the strength part he’ll have a problem with. It’s the conditioning part.
His conditioning will be much better next year, than it is today.

The season is long and grueling. That’s why they are being selective with how much they play him.

Ive got a drink that says he gets more targets each week as the season goes along.

We also have schematic issues Al.
We run an RPO where the QB isn’t allowed to read and run, it’s painfully slow developing and it begs for penetration…the only way to keep the D honest is for Gavin to pull the ball via a read and beat the penetration…. He’s not permitted and the defense knows it. His runs are called.
Our use of outside release and DB’s using the sideline as a 12th defender is painful to watch and delight for DB’s to defend.
Our punter will lose games by himself.
This run game will go BACKWARDS against anyone who can play defense and it hurts Gavin.
Our punter can lose game all by himself,

Sanu is really the only one who was a main contributor his freshman year. Everyone else needed time to get acclimated to this level.
Sanu in his senior year was without a doubt the best player in NJ. Though he never got that title anyone who watched the old NY vs NJ All Star game witnessed his athletic prowess. We are now bringing in quality talent. We all should look at these players as those who can bring B1G success to Rutgers.
