Congrats, you purchased RAC Pass, a mobile-only ticket that gets you access to every Rutgers Men's Basketball game this season! Your RAC Pass is for a group size of 2.

Follow the instructions below to register and use your RAC Pass:

STEP 1: Register

To register your RAC Pass, download the Rutgers Gameday app on your iPhone or Android phone.

Tap Gameday Guide then scroll and tap RAC Pass and register with the email address you used to purchase, [DELETED]

Provide a mobile phone number so we can text you when your seat is available. If you receive a confirmation text from 458-78, reply YES to opt-in to these text message notifications.

STEP 2: Access Mobile Tickets

After registering, you'll see your mobile tickets for all games. Use these tickets to scan into Rutgers Athletic Center on game day. Swipe left and right to move between tickets.

STEP 3: Accept Your Seats

A few hours before the game, you'll receive your seat location. We'll alert you via text message, and you will need to accept your seats in the Rutgers Gameday app to indicate you're going to the game.

You must be within 1 mile of Rutgers Athletic Center and allow location services in order to accept your seats.

STEP 4: Enjoy the Game!

Scan into Rutgers Athletic Center with the tickets on your phone, head to your seats, and enjoy the game!

Row S here. Definitely not giving out the best unsold seats. It seems it’s just pulling from secondary seats. Wish there was a way to upgrade the ticket for a nominal fee.

You will get a text with a link to a web page that will have the ticket barcodes. You then need to press a button on that page to accept them once within 2 miles

Easy. I have two regular seats and was only using two today but I figured I'd give the RAC pass a trial run. Worked well. Very simple and the directions are exactly correct. I'm stunned they didn't screw this up.

I’m thinking the best strategy with the RAC Pass is to check in close to tip. I️ got there at like 6:15 and was assigned a seat in 216 row S. That’s a pretty crappy seat.

As far as I can tell, there is no official announcement from Rutgers that they will give RAC Pass holders the best available seats. As I noted earlier in this thread, I expect them to get seats in the 300 level, upper 200's, or 200 corners. At $99, that's still a great deal, but no RAC Pass holder should be upset because they were assigned seats in last row of Sec 201 and they see empty seats lower and closer to center court.

I think you don't have a basis to be upset at getting a "crappy seat". At $99 for the season, less than $5 per game, the pass gets you into the RAC. If you ever get a seat comparable to someone who pays 5 times as much, you should consider yourself very lucky.

it stopped requiring that you be close to the venue after the first game. Certainly makes it a bit more convenient, and was perhaps an intentional update. Maybe you only have to check in by location one time and that unlocks it for the season

They changed it to 2 hours for this game. You can check when it will be available by going to Rutgers Gameday App > Gameday Guide > scroll right to RAC Pass > Access My RAC Pass > Then select that day's game

The lady scanned mine then held my buddy up. I pointed to the screen showing that it said seats 4 and 5 and just kind of breezed past her.
