Have to give coach Pikiell huge credit. Nebraska is known to play 1-3-1 zone to disrupt teams.

They tried it twice and we attacked it and got two easy baskets.

Yeah, plus finally took advantage of the other teams doubling our post guys as Myles found Mathis for a cutting layup and Kiss hit the three. We should make more teams pay if we just hit wide open shots. Mathis or Harper should be cutters whenever the double team comes and Kiss and Geo should be lining up ready at the three point line. The game is not that difficult.

Not sure if people really realize yet what having an inside post player who can score can do for the rest of the team, especially when that guy can also pass.

That's been our problem for how many years, 'wide open shots'.
Goes without saying that if we can consistently knock down shots, the middle will open up and we'll see more games like tonight from Myles.

Thanks for the 1-3-1. It's the easiest zone to get a layup against - a gift for a not so great outside shooting team. Great win.
