Assuming everyone is at full strength, I think Iowa may only win 2 matches with 3 being their ceiling barring any major upsets. PSU is so damn talented, it's crazy to think they can very easily win 8 or 9 (all 10 isn't out of the realm of possibiliy either) matches vs the #2 team in the country.

Don't sleep on Caliendo or Kueter. I Was not impressed with Kerkliviet against us. Gabe Arnold has been spouting off at the mouth and Starocci is gonna crush him. Parco I think is horribly overrated.

125- Don’t be surprised if it’s a one takedown match. Cruz has been looking good and I always thought LL is a tad bit overrated(ppl penciling him in as champ already as a preseason true freshman).

33- Ayala best Davis last year and I think it continues.

41- Think Iowa better roll out Rhodes.. Block is super tall for weight n sucking too much weight.

49- SVN beat Parco in the past but dont be surprise if Parco reverses it here.

57- Iowa needs a Teemer win here.. hopefully he is healthy enough to take on a game Kasak

65- Seen Messenbrink’s last interview? He’s got the best psychology/mental game in college. Caliendo will need to fend off bonus.

74- Kennedy always loses to the better wrestler.. Hearing Brands might go? Think Brands got better shot to hold dec

84- Cstar has like alter ego or something he always tries to beat his opponent psychologically.. perfect response to Gabe’s call out.. will be interesting to see who Iowa sends out Gabe or Angelo… if Angelo goes I Think he could pull it out… crazy as that sounds. Yes a true freshman vs a 4x champ.. Gabe got better D, Angelo more dynamic offense I think this match is a decision either way.

97- Barr motor is scary.. “wrestling is fun when ur getting better everyday”. I’ll play it safe and say Buchanan in the dual but Barr gets him back later on..

Hwt- Kerk wins comfortably. One of those wins close to a bonus.

On paper, Penn state crushes, but Brands really tries to win this dual matchup.. he might pull some surprises(sending in Brands/Angelo)….

Iowa needs to win 33,57,97.. I think 49 is closer then ppl realize… call me crazy but a 125 upset won’t shock me too much.. a 184 upset would shock me but I do think it’s possible.. but more possible with Angelo going.

I like caliendo a lot. Has looked good this year. Improved from last year. I still think he could get bonused tonight

It’s wild, Iowa has like 7 or 8 kids ranked in the top 10 at their weights and they still have absolutely no shot at beating Penn State. Crazy.
