We have the best coach we have had in a long long time and I'm optimistic about the future..

Yes that is true, but if you can't see the difference in this team from last year, then you just aren't paying attention. I'm not one for moral victories, and the losses still bother me, but this season has made me excited for the future when Coach SP gets the players he wants on the roster.

Is Plum Street a Rutgers fan or not? Wow. If you can't see the strides that Pikiell and your program have taken this year you might be just dumb.

coach hobbs, and another point guard, coach knight. that's three former point guards
if I was a budding star at the point, or the two. id be heading for RU. these guys will
have you raise your game to the next level. look at corey sanders. he now plays solid
D to go with his scoring ability. sometimes like another posted stated,.. he plays like his
hair is on fire. had to laugh at that....cant wait to see the improvement he makes next
season. I'm sure recruits are seeing the improvement in this team. pike really loving
his new job, and doesn't seem to have an ego. a man you can kick back , and have a

Again someone else that just assumes. Never said pike hasn't made strides. I think pike is the guy to turn this around if he can get a solid recruit or two. Please don't assume.
I posted our record . We keep score and keep records at this level. That's what this whole big time college baskebtall thing is all about.
It took a Penn State fan to bring some sanity and sense to this thread. The future is bright. No need to dwell on the negative of how bad this particular team is.

Plum sounds just like my brother in law who attended RU. My brother in law just loves to criticize RU every chance he gets. I just left the parking lot and he is calling me that we blew another one. He doesn't recognize the improvements that we have made. All he says is "it is all about the W's". Plum sounds just like that. Pikiell was hired in March last year when most of the top recruits were already taken. He did a great job getting Sa and Gettys. What do people expect? Pikiell will need a little time to improve our roster. Plum just sounds totally negative as well. Some posters think they know everything. If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.
Hopefully the kids how they closed the gap despite literally being the worst shooting team in the b1g.
If they want to get 6-7 b1g wins next year, they need to play smarter and try to improve the quality of the shots they take. I like that we've seen the # of TO's go down as the season as gone on.

Dude, I said pike is doing solid and will be good if he recruits. But yeah 2-14. I don't think anyone is surprised by this.
