He’s great. The quickest release I’ve ever seen. Would NBA take a chance on him?
If not sure he’d make millions overseas.

Having said that yesterday was one of the few times I saw him get flustered. RAC/JMAC magic and good D.

Mast really didn’t hurt us. We really haven’t had a big bruiser since Kent and he wasn’t all that big. We need a guy like that. Somerville?

He want to annoy and frustrate. I think his antics are hilarious. He plays us like a fiddle.
It's not just the wicked fast release. He makes up angles as he goes - Mahomes like. That Cliff block did not stick in his consciousness at all.

Erase his name and put “Paul Mulcahy” in here and put it on other teams sites. Every team needs an instigator and hate focus.

Him and that blonde-haired center... both SO punchable.
The blond hair center already looked like he got punched in the face, at least on tv. Looked like his chin has stitches and bruises on his arms. Maybe collateral damage of the B10

Tominaga is a great player, but he's definitely on the list because of his ridiculous dramatics. But you cry wolf enough, and you don't get the call when you land on someone's foot on a three-pointer, lol

I'm a little light on punchable B1G players right now, so there's plenty of room for him on my list.

Rewatched the last few minutes and OT on BIG network

Derrick doing the 🤫 in his direction after his first FT in OT was f’in priceless.

In terms of RU smack talk - My second favorite (distant second) behind RHJs “big balls” thing against IU. Gonna take something genius to beat that out ;)

He sat a lot, chugging Gatorade two bottles at a time. Seemed under the weather and lacking stamina.

Not sure about the punchable part like Mulcahy, Davison and Fran McCaffrey but he’s a very crafty player.

Tominaga is one of my favorite conference players.

And lol at people being mad at him shushing the crowd. Caleb and RHJ would jaw the entire game.

Idk man, he was pretty over the top after every made 3. But regardless it's the flopping that I can't stand
Hey on the late three pointer, he absolutely did not extend his leg to try to draw the shooting foul. His left leg came straight down.

But regardless, isn't that part of the game ? Selling being fouled. That's smart basketball. All players do it. Heck, coaches bitch about no-calls whether actually fouls or not.

Trying to deceive officials happens in all sports. It's only the fans of the faux-fouler who complain about it.

Team did a great job shutting him down in spite ofhis 4-8 from three, He did nothing else to help his team win. No assists. Missed several layups. One rebound. No defense.

He flopped twice that weren’t called but the worst play was when he grabbed both of Willaams arms and then flailed like he was being fouled. He got that call and that was the most punchable play of the game.

Happy we beat them and Brice Williams is a guy we could use here. He plays D, rebounds, sets up his teammates. Best player on Nebraska for sure.

Did you miss the first flop?

He was 1-6 inside the arc. The one he made was a very tough shot but run him off the arc and he’s average at best.

No. But I argue flopping is part of the game. No different than faking being fouled in other ways. Our guys too. Just pointing out the hypocrisy many people show in calling out only the other team.

Looked like he was mauled by a lion with this scratches on his shoulder.

We are fans - we are absolutely allowed to be hypocrites.

I absolutely loved it when RHJ did the “big balls” thing but can’t stand tominga 🤫 the RAC

Hypocritical? Sure.

Sorry. Not sorry.

Flopping though - hate it when our players (eg paul a few times over the years) do it too. I think most agree on that

But even paul would do it here and there. Occasionally. Tominga did it REPEATEDLY. It’s really annoying and poor sportsmanship.

Plenty of people called out Paul for the flops when he was here

Disagree.

Sure -“Selling a foul” is part of the game - when you actually do get fouled and then you sell it in some way to make the ref aware

But it’s not “selling the foul” when you didn’t get fouled in the first place.

There is a big difference.

And most people recognize that.

It’s why people don’t like lebron - he flops to get bogus calls. It’s what a lot of people don’t like about soccer - the pervasive flopping and histrionics.

It’s poor sportsmanship.

Most people recognize the difference between selling a foul and flopping to get a bogus call on a non-foul

Absolutely not, players try to sell non-fouls too. It’s incomprehensible that this isn’t recognized by people watching closely.

Attempts to try to get a favorable whistle is universal in sports. Obviously, soccer is the worst.

Almost every basketball game you’ll see a player wince in pain and massage the supposed injured part of his body while replay shows no contact.

It’s part of the game. By coaches too. It’s gamesmanship.

This isn’t how it’s always been. Do you remember Shaq literally getting jumped on or Iverson?

Those guys were so good but also relentless and tough as hell. Guys who only get their points from 3 and never drive to the hoop and still flop are lame. It’s because they can’t finish. Same goes for guys who struggle to score and flop.

As fans we should celebrate the guys who are tough as nails and those who can score, rebound and pass- not act.

It may now be “part of the game” but it’s the worst part.

I didn’t watch in the 70’s but I’m not sure it’s really worse now than after that.

How do you rationalize a guy on your team selling a bogus foul and the opponent fouling out ? Or your guy hitting big foul shots after that ?

And ‘home cooking’ is ok ?

Fans tend to overlook the lame shit their own team does. Many people here didn’t even recognize the Mulcahy trip.
