2015 Rutgers Athletics Hall of Fame Class Announced

The newest members of the Rutgers Athletics Hall of Fame will be recognized on Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Scarlet Knights host Kansas at High Point Solutions Stadium in the annual homecoming football game.

That is a very solid class of inductees.

Is there still a separate Football Hall of Fame class or are all sports now included under one HOF umbrella? In the past I was critical of the large number of football HOF inductees. It was as if the Athletic Department was trying to manufacture tradition by creating a large HOF.However these inductees are all very deserving of the honor

Do any of you know if Deron Cherry has much involvement in the program these days ?

That's a really strong class. It seems better than past classes, but in my mind I might be lumping the oversized football classes from past years into this conversation and not accurately remembering past HOF groups.

Either way, a terrific class and very happy to see Hill and Lloyd in.
