Since the conclusion of the 2017 season and the reuniting of the program last fall to start preparations for the 2018 season, Rutgers baseball has focused on change with a wholesome approach. Head coach Joe Litterio has emphasized the importance of hard work, character, effort, leadership, academics and community service in addition to the usual baseball drills such fielding grounders, throwing bullpens or hitting to the opposite field.
