2019 G Khalif Battle

What a good reason to pass on a very talented athlete. I feel some Rutgers fans just don't want to win. We find the silliest reasons to not want certain recruits or coaches.
Yeah, really. A certain star player on our team transferred a bunch in high school too.

Mulcahy outplayed him in practice daily (per inside sources). Rather have Paul. More unselfish too. I know a little more than you think.

Players like Battle usually come with bells and whistles attached to their recruitment. There's a reason why the bulk of regional or state recruits land at Cuse, LSU, Duke, Florida Nova ......either they're in the Top 10 15 most years or they land there based on items most local schools aren't going to play in that sandbox or realm of landing players.

We lose Mulcahy if we take him? How?
No we dont. Mulcahy is a PG, Battle is an SG lights out shooter which we sorely lack. Theyre also friendly and were cheering their asses off together behind the RU bench for the RU SHU game last year

I saw Battle about 3 times. He really is a very good shooter. I believe he signed with Butler. We recruited him hard. I think he will be very good for Butler.

Indeed, Battle is headed to Butler.

Mulcahy's GSB team destroyed Battle's Trenton Catholic club the other night. After yesterday's practice, Pikiell said he attended the game and continues to be enchanted with Mulcahy's ability to distribute the ball. Mulcahy was credited with 18 assists. Pikiell said he was keeping his own stats and thought he got gypped. He had him down for 21.
