This probably looks like an underwhelming pick-up, but there’s a lot of potential here. I’m not saying Michael Cetta is a surefire future AA, but his credentials do not show how tough he is.
TKR has been told by sources that the coaching staff is very high on this kid. He has the number one trait Goodale and Co. look for in a kid, and that’s a work ethic.
If Cetta does end up being a room guy for his entire career (which I don’t think will be the case, he will make those around him better. He’s a selfless and tireless worker, and that’s a very important piece of the puzzle.

Going from non state qualifier for two years to a state placer as a junior is a crazy jump. It’s a shame there’s probably no states this year because it would be a really nice barometer.
In a time where a lot of these private schools are turning kids away from Rutgers, it good to see a little bit of a bridge being built with one of the better programs in the state. Especially with Mullen sitting there.
