Rutgers Wrestling landed another class of 2022 recruit on Thursday as North Jersey's Joe Fongaro announced his decision.

Looks like another kid who visited this weekend committed as well. I'm assuming this is essentially a preferred walk-on type of situation.

Finished 6th last year as a junior at 132 after not placing previously. Looks like he did beat Kelly Dunnigan (UPENN) in the regional finals (he finished 2nd in the state), so that's his most notable victory.

How tall is Soldano? Heard he is wrestling 195lbs this year. Has he grown? IMO, he looked way smaller than TJ Stewart in the Fargo finals at 182. I love that he is not cutting weight, just getting better at wrestling, but curious where he realistically projects in college. I always thought 174 but maybe he has a large enough frame to go bigger.

Consider his weight growth during high school. That's why I've been projecting him at 197.
