I did a post like this last year, where I dove into some of the top players from the lower levels (G5/FCS) who have NJ/RU ties of some sort. Here's that thread from last year. Some of the players we identified early last year were:

QB Tony Muskett (Monmouth) -> UVA. Just led UVA to a win at #10 UNC this past weekend.
QB Christian Veilleux (PSU) -> Pitt. Took over starting duties for Pitt and in his first start of the season knocked off previously undefeated Louisville
WR Naiem Simmons (Wagner) -> USF. Set a single game record for USF in receiving yards earlier this season (272 yards) and is the Bulls 2nd leading receiver on the season.
OL Ajani Cornelius (URI) -> Oregon. Currently the starting RT for the top 10 ranked Oregon Ducks.

Anyway, here's an early target list for who might make the jump into the portal for a better opportunity. I'm NOT going to include QBs on this list because Gavin is our locked in starter and we have a very good QB recruit coming in in AJ Surace. I'm also not gonna include positions that I don't think we have a need (RB mainly). Let's start with pass catchers, I'll update this post and thread with other players when I get some more time to dive into this...

WR
Dymere Miller (JR, Monmouth):
Miller is listed at 6-0, 180 lbs and would have 1 year of eligibility remaining after this season. He hails from Coatesville, PA and went to Coatesville HS (HS teammates with the Young brothers) before spending a year at Salisbury School in Salisbury, CT. Miller was also on this list last year. Miller was a track star in HS and was a part of the Coatesville 4x100 relay team that finished 2nd in PA (Aaron Young was also a member of that relay team)

Miller led Monmouth in receiving last year when he caught 55 passes for 820 yards and 7 TDs (9 games) and is once again leading Monmouth in receiving this year with 57 catches for 698 yards and 5 TDs through 7 games, which places him 4th in the FCS in receiving yards.

Miller has a PFF grade of 86.3 in 2023, which ranks him 12th out of 1031 qualifying WRs. Miller put up a similarly stellar PFF grade last year when he put up a grade of 85.8 (14th out of 1048 qualifying WRs).

Jared Richardson (RS FR, UPenn):
Richardson is listed at 6-2, 215 lbs and would have 3 years of eligibility available after this season. He hails from Blakeslee, PA and went to Bethlehem Catholic HS.

After only appearing in 4 games as a true freshman last year, Richardson has erupted onto the scene in 2023, leading the 5-1 Quakers in receptions (45), receiving yards (501) and receiving TDs (4) as a RS FR. Last week he went supernova against Yale, putting up 17 catches for 191 yards and a TD against the defending Ivy League champs.

Richardson has a PFF grade of 84.6 in 2023 which ranks him 15th out of 1031 qualifying WRs.

Not many Ivy League kids leave their school before they graduate, but he may be an exception given how talented this kid is.

Nick DeGennaro (RS JR, Richmond):
DeGennaro is listed at 6-1, 190 lbs and would have 1 year of eligibility remaining after this season. He is from Old Bridge, NJ and attended the Hun School. He signed with Maryland out of HS where he played for 2 seasons (2020 and 2021) sparingly. He transferred to Richmond and has played there the past two seasons.

DeGennaro had 51 catches for 522 yards and 1 TD in his first season as a Spider in 2022 and has emerged as the top receiving option in 2023, leading the Spiders in catches (48), yards (608) and TDs (8).

DeGennaro has a PFF grade of 76.5 in 2023, which ranks him 87th out of 1031 qualifying WRs.

Nicholas Dunneman (SO, Georgetown):
Dunneman is listed at 5-10, 165 lbs and would have 2 years of eligibility available after this season. He is from Montclair, NJ and attended Seton Hall Prep. He started his college career at Union College (D3).

Dunneman led Union College in receiving in 2022, tallying 53 catches, 802 yards and 6 TDs and was named 1st Team All Conference as a true freshman. He transferred to Georgetown and is once again leading his team in receiving with 55 receptions, 574 yards and 2 TDs through 8 games. He went off last week against Colgate for 15 catches, 205 yards and a TD. His 15 catches last week was one shy of a Patriot League record.

Dunneman has a PFF grade of 75.1 in 2023, which ranks him 116th out of 1031 qualifying WRs.

Anthony Johnson (RS FR, Stony Brook):
Dunneman is listed at 5-11, 190 lbs and would have 3 years of eligibility available after this season. He is from Burlington, NJ and attended Burlington Twp HS. He started his college career at James Madison, where he redshirted in 2022 and transferred after a year in the program.

Johnson is currently leading the Seawolves in catches (39), receiving yards (537) and 2nd on the team in receiving TDs (2) in his first season at Stony Brook as a RS FR.

Johnson has a PFF grade of 75.2 in 2023, which ranks him 113th out of 1031 qualifying WRs.

TE
Mason Gilbert (SR, Lafayette)
Gilbert is listed at 6-8, 254 lbs and would have 1 year of eligibility remaining after this season. He is from DeWitt, MI and went to DeWitt HS.

Gilbert's numbers won't jump out at you, he has 10 catches for 117 yards and 1 TD but he has great size and a great frame for a B1G TE.

Gilbert grades very well, putting up a grade of 80.3 on PFF which ranks him 7th out of 419 qualifying TEs.
