2025 NCAA Regionals in Newark

Who will be the host institution? I recall Rutgers being the host for NCAA games either at the Pru or at the Meadowlands instead of SHU, despite it being their home court. I think the reason given was that we have a much larger staff and athletic department.
Great to see New Jersey as a site again. Wrestling championships in Philadelphia.

NCAA wrestling headed to Philadelphia; Prudential Center in Newark to host Division I basketball regional
The Wells Fargo Center will host wrestling in 2025, while the Prudential Center will hold regional hoops the same year.
The image on the Tweet says SHU is host.
SHU has been the host the past few regionals, including the 2011 version in Newark.
Going back to the Final Four and prior to that, it was all Rutgers.
Pike will probably be in the NBA or taking over for coach K at duke after he leads us to the national title . Knight and his staff will lead us into Newark in 2025
If he leaves because he won a national title to go to the NBA I would be ok with it. I mean the guy won us a title for peat sake
I was at the NCAA final in the Meadowlands in 1996 with my Father & Brother. Rutgers was the host school, so we were able to get tickets..
