2nd Dual Threat QB offer: Woody Barrett?

As much as Ash/Mehringer say they can make the offense work with any type of quarterback... I think it's pretty clear they'd prefer a dual-threat guy moving forward given the offers that are going out.
Probably a reach, but Auburn did have a 4 Star JC QB enroll for classes this week. Only committed in November.
Doesn't dual threat imply a threat to throw?

Scott Erney was a very good runner
Tarver spent so much time on his back he changed his major to Astronomy.
As much as Nova was bagged on this site he would do well under the current system. Recall that at his pro day he ran a 4.61 40 and did quite well in the agility drills (posting the best 3-cone time). He was very much underutilized for what his abilities could have given us and certainly would be put to proper use by the current staff.
your right I have no clue whats happening. However, I do know how recruiting works and the fact that none of our coaches are following him, he isn't following any of our coaches, there has been no mention of it on his twitter, no site has reported an offer, and a writer from another site who reached out was told "no chance". Outside of that, yea i'd say we are looking real good here.
not sure he would do well but I think he could definitely run it. I always thought he should have taken off and run more.
true. That being said, when was the last time a kid got an offer he was excited about and didn't tweet it OR reach out to a writer?
Oh forgot Twitter is the most accurate way to tell if something is true or not. Regardless, if it's not true he was offered less than 24 hours ago you again would have no f'n clue if we have a shot or not.

Every time there is a discussion of best Rutgers QBs of all-time, my dad insists that Scott Erney be in that discussion.
He is correct, Erney was one of the very few "implact players" we have ever had at QB. He threw some head scratching ints but overall he was very good. Even had a cup of coffee in the pros with the Broncos
