The guy writes an article about what a disappointment this season is after the win tonight. Why write that right after a win? The guy knew what article he wanted to write ahead of time. I’m surprised he still had a job there. He adds zero value to nj.com’s coverage, as Fronseca can cover everything himself. If I were in charge there, I’d give Fronseca a 20% raise and get rid of Lanni.

I know they get on here and read. I try to not feed the trolls and try to not name call. Fonseca called it the biggest disappointment in Rutgers history. Guys a beat writer instead posting hyperbolic nonsense. It’s disappointing. They’re still competitive. I watched 25 miserable years so maybe he should stick to something he can speak truthfully about

I mean it was kind of a ham-fisted narrative to try and tie in his reporting to tonight’s result, probably should have tried to run it before the game. But like a nice win over a bad team doesn’t negate this season being a massive disappointment

I would have said the only thing I’m disappointed about is that Nj.com still has people who actually read their nonsense
You’re right. I’ll stop reading / listening to their podcast. The podcast is pretty much just Lanni and fronseca trying to kiss up to politi on who can sht more on Rutgers. I will say to Fronsecas credit, he pushes back on politi 10% of the time when politi is being just beyond ridiculous. Lanni never had any backbone, not sure why his role there even exists.

unfortunately the program has given the media carte blanche to write that article anytime they want til the season is over and next season starts. It’s national news and Richie himself has said he himself is monitoring the increases engagement he and other media members get when the write and post about Dylan and Ace and they will write every version of article or post they can after each game
