You people still think Eddie can get it done. Its not facilities fault or Julie Hermanns fault. This rebuild is monstrous..its going to take a guy who lives breathes and eats basketball...younger and energetic...just spinning our wheels right now...patience not required as an excuse...this isnt working..very clear..I dontvknow what will but this isnt

I've been emphasizing patience. But, a loss like this is a huge red flag. Another red flag is the 2016 recruiting class.

Big rivalry game and not a peep from the Rutgers Athletics twitter feed.

This is a blowout in every sense of the word........I have always said all I want to see is improvement. NOT seeing it.......in fact we have taken several steps backwards

Danny or Bobby, which Hurley does Hobb reach out to ?
Neither. Hobbs is trying to lock Eddie into a long-term contract for millions, which will be too expensive for a buyout and will include incentives for poor performance. (This was Hobbs' approach with Willard.)

Bobby isn't going to leave ASU unless Hobbs offers the world, he's in his honeymoon peroid with Sun Devil fans and ASU is willing to support its MBB program better than RU has shown willing to in the past.

Danny might be the one RU can pick up , but will have to offer him a competitive salary compared to the other B1G MBB HCs and upgraded facilities to get him to even consider looking into coaching RU.

I've got to believe RU will be concentrating on the football program for the next 2-3 years. Jordan will finish off his contract, if there is no off court episodes. At that time RU will work on the basketball program.

Afraid so and that's been the case for a long time.
But basketball never gets worked on because new football expenses must be met and once they are taken care of, basketball will get its turn.
Then something else FB needs starts the cycle again.

Don't like it, but I think you may have hit the nail on the head.

20-11 in comes Bishop, game changed immediately. All momentum gone, air taken out.

Rutgers goes 12 minutes without scoring a basket which made a close competitive game wind up another embarrassing loss to Seton Hall. The only question in the second half was how close Seton Hall would come to scoring 90 points?

I hate to say it but everything changed when Daniels came into the game. He is too much of a Me player. He drives out of control, shoots an air ball and throws the ball all over the court. We were playing well and Eddie changed everything. Daniels only played 6 minutes. I really feel he needs to go to the end of the bench. He is a 5th year senior and is playing much worse than last year. He doesn't seem to play team ball. I say play the freshmen.

Don't blame Sanders for transferring at seasons end.
This is one of the ways it happens. The leaks start springing everywhere. You don't bring in enough talent -- right now it's an 0-fer for the 2015 recruiting class -- and the little talent that you did bring in eventually sees the problem and looks to leave.

This was clear in his first season. This is just like the Flood debacle except Flood actually won some games. It's so obvious where this train is heading.

There is no hope for this program in its current state.
It's time to tear it down and start from scratch.
It is clear Eddie like Flood is over his head.

The mens basketball program has been on a downward spiral for over 25 years which has been caused by the lack of attention by the athletic department in regard to facilities, financial support, recruiting and accountability. As long as there is no sense of urgency to finally change the status quo the dwindling fan base might just reach Littlepage proportions this season.

I left 1 To into the 2nd half. I cannot watch this crap any loner and went to hang Christmas lights.

I said the exact same thing to my wife going home. The Start was fantastic and then we subbed and they adjusted. Kinda just like a Rutgers football game. All goes downhill after our first drive.

No doubt this is Kyle Flood in a suit.
