This image came up on my OneDrive "on this day" from Sept 22, 2018 - it was taken at the end of the 3rd quarter of a game that we ultimately lost to BUFFALO by a score of 42-13. For those that are complaining about where we are as a program, fans leaving early, Schiano bashers, etc, this is a reminder of what we had very recently. It's a long process, but the program is heading in a good direction, and we are getting close.

It's not a finished product yet, there will be lots of ups and downs along the way, and if we aren't close to being bowl eligible, the stadium may look like this again in November by the time Maryland rolls around. But this was in SEPTEMBER. There was no hope then. The stadium was a big, sad empty building. It was depressing to go to the games. Now there is energy and life in the stadium. We have full student sections (at least for 2 quarters, which is a start). The program has energy and hope and momentum. The picture below is a sad reminder of what we had not long ago. It takes time and patience, but we are getting there. This season has been a lot of fun so far. Let's enjoy the ride and remember where we came from.
